Ever wondered why young girls love horses? Maybe growing up watching television programs like "Fury" and "My Friend Flicka" had something to do with it.
In the early '90s, we got our first show horse, Dandy Day, for our daughter. She competed in youth classes and I took a few lessons. Imagine our surprise when our daughter won her very first class. And, to my delight, I won the Novice Amateur Western Pleasure class. We were such novice competitors that we did not know that we were to step out of the lineup when they called out our names as the winner!
Through the years we've had the privilege of working and building friendships with trainers that have taken our love of horses from "riding stable horses" to World Class caliber show horses.
Located on thirteen acres in mid-Michigan, BK Spectacular Paints and Quarter Horses is home of such outstanding horses as APHA Champion Exclusively Fancy and World Champion RR Rachetts Clu.
Our farm has also been home to Checkmate Joe, who has numerous Top 10 World Show placings, BK Simply Spectacular, 3-year-old Western Pleasure Futurity winner and World Champion producer Impressive Miss Dee.
It is our desire that our lives and our business bring honor and glory to God and we are grateful for the blessings He has allowed us to share. We hope our lives and our horses will be a blessing to you as well.
